Zumba Gold s a fun and gentle dance fitness class set to Latin and international dance music. It will get your whole body moving with steps that are easy to learn and modified for the beginner or the active, older adult. Instructor: Gale Davis is licensed to teach zumba, zumba gold and zumba toning.

Feldenkrais® for Back Pain w/ Susan Hammond

Back Pain? Back Twinges? Just want to bend and turn more easily through your spine? Our backs are integral to just about every move we make. So, even if you don’t have back discomfort, these gentle lessons will guide you towards sitting, moving and walking with comfort and ease. The Feldenkrais Method is a form of somatic education that uses very gentle movement and focused attention to improve neuromuscular habits and enhance human functioning. With this Method, you can rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement.

Discuss The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz (Be Impeccable with Your Word, Don’t Take Anything Personally, Don’t Make Assumptions, Always Do Your Best) and the Toltec Masteries of Awareness, Transformation, and Love/Intent. Learn how to apply them to your life to create what you want. There will be recapitulation breathing and other personalized exercises in each class.

Restorative Yoga w/ Carol Hince

In Restorative Yoga, props such as blankets and bolsters support you in floor positions. The gentle poses bring about deep relaxation and can boost the immune system as well as deeply affect other body systems. NIH studies report decreased BP, HR, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

Gift circles are an opportunity to connect with others to meet each other’s economic needs without money or barter. First share what you need and others can chime in with offers. Then describe what you would like to give: unused materials, labor, time, expertise, etc. You could gift and receive all kinds of things: babysitting, massage, organizing, yard work, and much more. This Hatha yoga class is a synthesis of Iyengar Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy, and Carol’s knowledge of Physical Therapy. Compassion and guidance are offered for those with limitations. Beginning and continuing students are welcome. Classes are small, friendly and fun.
